Fengshi joined the Vision and System Design Lab in 2021. He is currently a Ph.D candidate at ECE Department and AI Chip Center for Emerging Smart System (ACCESS) of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), supervised by Prof. Kwang-Ting (Tim) Cheng and Prof. Chi-Ying Tsui. Prior to that, he obtained his B.Eng. in Microelectronics Science and Engineering from Fudan University in 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Xiaoyong Xue. Fengshi was with CenBRAIN Neurotech, Westlake University as a visiting student during 2020-2021, supervised by Prof. Mohamad Sawan. He also visited University of Oxford, UK in 2019 and Waseda University, Japan in 2018. He ever held positions in IC industry and investment business. His current research interests lie in neuromorphic computing for edge applications, domain-specific architecture design and computing-in-memory systems. He is the recipient of several academic awards including the Best Paper Award of IEEE AICAS 2023.
