Jingyu started his Ph.D. study in 2020. He is supervised by Prof. CY Tsui and Prof. Tim Cheng. Prior to that, he obtained his master's degree in electrical engineering at the University of Southern California under supervision by Prof. Paul Bogdan in 2019 and his bachelor's degree at the Guangdong University of Technology in 2017. In addition, he had multiple internship experiences in digital IC design. He is currently interested in neuromorphic computing, memristor, and computer architecture.
