Dr. Maolin Wang joined the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, as a Research Assistant Professor in 2023. He received his B.Eng. degree from Tsinghua University in 2015 and his Ph.D. degree from The University of Hong Kong in 2020. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Hong Kong from 2020 to 2021 and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the AI Chip Center for Emerging Smart Systems from 2021 to 2023. His research focuses on efficient computer architecture for algorithms in machine learning. Dr. Wang's research has been published in top conferences and journals on computer architecture, including ISCA, TPDS, and TNNLS.
