Shucheng joined the Vision and System Design Lab (VSDL) in 2025. He is currently a PhD student in the Electronic and Computer Engineering Department at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and the AI Chip Center for Emerging Smart Systems (ACCESS), under the supervision of Prof. Kwang-Ting Cheng. Prior to joining VSDL, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in 2024 and interned at ACCESS. His research focuses on edge AI inference chips and software-hardware co-design methods, emphasizing holistic design across the algorithm, software-stack and hardware level, with the goal of achieving long-term, sustainable improvements in system intelligence.
