Dr. Songchen Ma joined the Vision and System Design Lab in 2024. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the AI Chip Center for Emerging Smart Systems, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his B.Eng. degree from Jilin University in 2019 and his Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University in 2024. His research realms focus on brain-inspired computing architecture, AI chip, and intelligent system. Dr. Ma's research has been published in top journals on brain-inspired computing and computer architecture, including Science Robotics (two papers, one of which is a cover article and the other is an AAAS Highlight News), Nature Electronics, Nature Communications and IEEE Transactions on Computers.
