Xijie joined the Vision and System Design Lab in 2020, where he is pursuing his PhD degree in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He received his B. E. degree in Electronics Information and Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2020. His research interests lie in the general area of deep learning and computer vision, particularly in action recognition. He visited University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as a research intern in 2019, working with Prof. Mani Srivastava, on security and interpretability of deep neural network.
